NYC Walkabout

NYCwalkabout.net is a record of my wanderings through New York City, an archive of images and ideas inspired by a walkabout through the Five Boroughs. The plan is to document the City’s vast and varied landscapes, to capture some small part of the ephemeral beauty that arises from the daily collision of the magical and the mundane. From its sidewalks, streets, and subways to its concert halls, cathedrals of commerce and underground parties, New York City is a land of wonders and I hope to reflect some of its magic in these pages.

The rules for this project are simple: I must live in all five boroughs in 2010 and I cannot live in any one neighborhood longer than a month.

Everything else is open.
