Living on the road requires one to cull everything non-essential from one’s life. There’s just too much moving around to be encumbered by things that do not serve a regular functional purpose: pictures, DVDs, lots of books, etc. are only going to get in the way and reduce the efficiency of movement, so they must be given a new home or thrown away.
For this project, I reduced the things in my life to the following, all of which are essential to the walkabout:
